HR GROUP PROJECT FOR EVALUATION OF 20 MARKS Project Report on HRM functions in a Company (Manufacturing Units or IT/ ITes or Hotels

or Any other industry ) Steps 1. Select a company, take appointment from HR Department employee of a company (preferably manager) 2. Prepare questionnaire 3. Search about company and HR functions on Internet, If company was in news for HR related issues. 4. Collect data on following Total Number of employees (male/female) Number of employees in HR (contract/ permanent) Organization structure and of HR department Functions of HR Department HR policies (leave, appraisal, recruitment, selection test, surveys, results, training center, reward structure, health and safety, engagement, welfare etc) Get formats (interview sheet/ time sheet/ performance appraisal forms/ leave card/ salary slip etc) Get facts and figures as number of new hires/ new vacancies/ attrition rate/ absenteeism rate/ salary components, engagement rate etc) 5. Compile the report 6. One page hand written note from each team member about the contribution and learning from the project. Project Submission on 16th Sept. This is group project followed by Presentation/ viva. NO EXTENSION WHATSOEVER FOR ANY CANDIDATE WILL BE GRANTED IN THE DEADLINE Group members (same groups as discussed in the class) Let the faculty know within a week if you are not able to work on this topic. Project should be in times new roman, font size 12, line spacing single. Copy & paste from google should be Strictly avoided. Project should have: Cover page ( Title & Section - Group members name) Index Introduction & objectives
