Lone Wolf In our solitude and chaos, we seek something more in a lifetime.

Some say lone wolves dont exist. But there is documented proof of wolves wandering alone, over great distances. Separating from the pack, against incredible odds the determined wolf meanders through deserts, mountains, plains, and forest. He sleeps alone, though not lonely in a habitat that his DNA knows as natural. What exactly sparks this venture is the search for more? We can never comprehend those who walk away from the security of the pack. Its the pack that feeds and sets the rules. The alpha and omegas are determined and steadfast. Somewhere in the middle is the commoner. This is the beginning of a ghostly tug for self-existence. Maybe the wolf has witnessed time fleeting and its the only way he can lay down his own rules, a walkabout journey that only ends with one breath. He alone chooses this epic journey, regardless of the pain, agony and the loss of collateral. The last breath will be his demise but on his own terms. Maybe he finds his own pack, building a new journey, who knows and who can predict? Regardless, the circle is complete, as the lineage meets its beginning, only to look one last time at the center. That need for something more is resolved and laid to rest, yet accomplished. I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
