The ZD500R also uses Link-OS Zebras new and innovative software platform that enhances the capabilities of the printer, making it significantly easier to manage and integrate into global operations. An NFC Infotag lets you pair devices with just a tap and eases troubleshooting.

With an intuitive user interface, there is little training required to operate the ZD500R. The large LCD and simplified menu structure makes operation simple.

MEDIA FLEXIBILITY
The ZD500R offers a variety of media options to meet your in-store RFID tagging needs. The printer supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing and is compatible with inlays from all leading suppliers. The ZD500R can be used with a variety of inlay types, from small item-level tags to the largest omni-directional inlay strips. With a minimum inlay pitch of 16 mm, the ZD500R enables lower media cost, less media waste and fewer roll changes.

Since it is built with the same innovative technology as Zebras industry-leading RFID printer/encoders, existing applications can be easily adapted for use with the ZD500R. The ZD500R supports next generation inlays and offers 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth connectivity.
