A Proposal Outline for the Annual Company Trip to Langkawi Island.

We have planned an annual trip for our company this coming November. This trip
involves the company executives with the spouse and children. The number of person
involved for this trip is around 50 persons. For this trip we are given two destinations which
are Langkawi Island and Cameron Highland. So we have to decide where is the place been
choose for the trip. This trip will be around middle of November 2009.

The objectives for company annual trip are our executives can escape for a while from
busy and stressful environment at the office. In this trip someone can relax his/her body and
mind and in the same time can spend a good quality time with their family. It’s also can
strengthening a good relationship between executives and their family. Other benefit of this
trip is our executive can work more focus and keep motivated to do they daily works. That
mean happy worker can contribute more for the company.

So we have done some research to estimate the budget for both places. A cost for the
trip to Langkawi Island for four days and three nights is estimated around RM 35,000 for
about fifty persons that already include a return air ticket, accommodation and tour around
Langkawi Island. For the Cameron Highland, the overall cost is around RM 25,000 for three
days and two nights. This cost also for about fifty persons.

Langkawi Island is situated in northern Peninsula Malaysia and comprises of 99

beautiful tropical islands. One of the free tax zone in Malaysia and also most popular island
in Malaysia. Langkawi Island also voted seventh of ten most beautiful island in the world.
Interesting places that worth to visit is like Langkawi Cable Car, Galeria Perdana, Oriental
Village, Underwater world and much more that suitable for families. For who seeks
adventure can try snorkelling, shark and barracuda feeding and boat ride at Pulau Payar
Marine Park. There are many places to stay and we recommended Berjaya Langkawi Resort
and Spa because it offers beautiful scenic sea view and best services for the guest.

Cameron Highland is situated at Banjaran Titiwangsa in Pahang and 1500m from sea
level. Still covered in ancient tropical forest and because it higher from sea levels it will be a
nice cool place. There are many interesting places that we can go at Cameron Highland.
When arrived here the place must visit by someone is to the tea plantation like BOH tea
plantation and Sungai Palas Tea plantation. Both offer beautiful scenic that best for picture
taking. Also Butterfly Centre for who love insects and nature. Strawberry farm, honey bee
farm and vegetable farm that offer a cheap price for the product also worth to been
considered. At here we recommended stay at Arabella Apartment that suitable for a large
group. At here it has a good view of Cameron Highland and also offers good services for the
customer.

Both places offered a best holiday experiences like Langkawi Island with its beautiful
scenic beach, beautiful tropical island and beautiful sea. Cameron Highland has a charm of its
own with its Tudor architecture style buildings, tea plantation with its soothing greenery and
breathtaking scenery, not to mention some old favourite English pastime of having afternoon tea.

But the downside is both places will pack with the tourists especially at school holiday, traffic
congestion and degradation of its pristine environment. Price for air ticket, hotel and other also will
increase at holiday season.

But after we judging from all aspect, we choose Langkawi Island because it easy to reach by
air and land. Langkawi Island also offers many interesting places than Cameron Highland can do. For
us, although it more expensive than Cameron Highland in the term of cost, the beautiful beach, the
lovely breeze of the sea and the sea adventure can give more satisfactions for both nature and
adventures lover executives. Plus, the unforgettable experiences to family of our hardworking and
industrious executives too.
