Lesson

Writing- Discuss and negotiate classroom rules with students. Talk about safety and respect of others and their responsibilities as a team member. What problems are there, how do we fix them? People trip over chairs, A: Push them in keep classroom clean and tidy. INTRODUCE METALANGUAGE CAOS & ORDER Provide examples and have Students group them. Whos hand is it? Direct comparison of area. Using student workbooks as a unit of measure, in the playground students cover various surfaces to compare the area. Handprint in the classroomgroup discussion Students are given a copy of the handprint. They superimpose their own handprint over the copied hand print and trace around it to decide whos hand it is? SIGHT WORDS :HAVE I have so many feeling. I feel happy when. I feel sad when Maths- Days of the week. Maths Sing song . What day is it today? What day was it yesterday? Tomorrow will be? Students hold the days of the week flash cards, students have to put them in the correct order. (Start from Sunday) Whisper a day name to each student. Students have to ask each other what day they are and put themselves in a complete group. Write days of the week on the board. What do students do on each day? On white boards students write the weekdays in order and draw a picture.
