used to refer to a person who presents himself falsely, as the opposite of his true representation. In dealing with my theme of escape I imagined a young wolf trying genuinely to escape stereotypes of savageness and primal violence by presenting himself as a well-dressed, stylish, and sophisticated being. As viewers, we immediately recognize the curiousness of this subject matter because, although the figure is dressed nicely and seems agreeable, we clearly recognize that he is a wolf. And we have preconceived notions of what a wolf is and how a wolf behaves whether well-dressed or not. Thus, it seems the wolf cannot and will not escape his identity. The clothes make no difference.
