Marlboro Dukes Save Modified Sports 1390 Rte 9W Marlboro, NY 12542 Dan and Rich: I have received your request for a donation to the Save Modified Sports fund and am happy to inform you that your request has been approved. We understand the need for the continuance of these programs in order to keep our communitys children involved in positive activities. Sports participation is a major factor in the development of most American children. Research has shown that sports contribute to psychological wellbeing by reducing anxiety and depression and enhancing self-esteem. In sports kids find a social environment that can promote a spirit of social interaction, cooperation and friendship. Sports help kids think critically and solve problems, build self-discipline, trust, respect for others, leadership and coping skills, all of which form the foundation of character building. Sports have also been shown to improve academic and occupational outcomes, lower school dropout and deter delinquency. Because of these factors, your cause is something that the members of NYSCOPBA support who heartedly. Please accept my pledge of $3,000.00 to the Marlboro Dukes Save Modified Sports fund. You can contact me via email mmazzella@nyscopba.org or by phone 845490-0658. Respectfully,

Michael Mazzella Mid-Hudson Region Vice-President.
