Assessment.
1.1 Students will engage in conversations with the teacher and other students. 1.2 Students will interpret what the teacher is saying. 1.3 Students will introduce themselves to the class. 2.1 Students will demonstrate an understanding about the way people greet each, say their origin and pronounce the alphabet and numbers in Spanish speaking countries. 4.1 Students demonstrate understanding of the language by comparing Spanish identity, greetings, numbers and alphabet to their language.
C. Guided Participation: Students will answer questions about their origin and greetings. D. Extension: Students will work in pairs and engage in a conversation where they greet each other and say where they are from. E. Informal assessment: Students will tell the class a basic greeting, their names and last names and also their origin. F. Closure: I will ask students to tell me two things they learned today and to study the subject pronouns for next class.
