Antecedent
The teacher interrupts Mohammed when he is playing, to call him to a task. Refusing to tidy up the space where he was playing before moving to another activity.

Behaviour
Mohammed begins to cry, and scratch / kick/hit the teacher. He throws a tantrum and refuses to tidy up. If the teacher picks up the items, he is sometimes aggressive. Plays with his toys while seated on the toilet, or fills the basin with water, blocking the drain with soap. Mohammed screams and lashes out at them with his hand.

Consequence
The teacher leaves him till he stops crying, and goes to work with another student. He spends his time crying, and will not stop until its time for him to go home.

This was done by changing the consequence using negative re-inforcement, where he was given time out on a chair, and not permitted to move. Upto 3 Reduced by 90% to 2-3 times a week. times in a day, daily. This was done by using positive re-inforcements like a gently touch on his hand and back, a star on his hands, and lots of verbal praise.

When the teacher is busy with the another student, he says he wants to use the toilet.

He can continue his 1-2 times a Reduced by 60% to 3-4 times a week. imaginary play. day, daily. This was done by requesting him to stop the activity and come into the classroom. He requires a physical touch on the hand or arm to guide him, and responds well to a soft tone and a firm tone. The child is startled 2-3 times Reduced by 90% to 2-3 times in a week. and leaves him alone daily. This was done by keeping him busy while other students come into the class. Also by standing next to him and stopping him from raising his hand either physically or with a firm tone.

A student from another class enters to use the toilet, and touches something that he is playing with.
