The program files are: Bridge2d.xls Bridge2d.xla Bridge2d.hlp Bridge2d.cnt Hand.cur MS Excel Template File. MS Excel Add-In File. Help File. Help Content File. Cursor image File.

Open Bridge2d.xls in MS Excel. Program will prompt you to specify the file dire ctory containing Bridge2d.xla file. Next open dialog box Directories under File Menu and specify the file directories as described below. Working Directory - Directory containing analysis files. GT STRUDL Directory - Directory containing file gtstrudl.exe. Text Editor - Windows text editor application (like NOTEPAD or WORDPAD). Save MS Excel workbook with the different name. Database Access Object Library (DAO) installation: In order to run Bridge2d properly DAO 3.5 (Database Access Object Library) shall be installed with your copy of Microsoft Office. To install DAO follow next ste ps: In Windows click on Start button, point on Settings and click on Control Panel. In Control Panel click on Add/Remove Programs command. Dialog box 'Add/Remove Pr ogram Properties' will open. Choose Microsoft Office 97/2000 and click on Add/R emove button. Insert Office CD into CD-ROM at the prompt and click 'Ok'. At Micr osoft Office Setup dialog box click on Add/Remove. Choose 'Data Access' option a nd click on 'Change Option'. In the new dialog box click on 'Select All' option. Confirm your decision clicking on 'Ok'. You will have to reboot your computer f or the changes to take effect.
