Question: CHAPTER 3: Read Module 3 of CWTS1 PM1 and answer the following questions not less than 25 sentences

(overall): 1. Research on the Institute's fire/earthquake evacuation procedure. What are the steps that the school must observe during such cases? During the Institute's fire/earthquake evacuation procedure, The Organization of the Campus Emergency Management Group must always be ready and active. The Chairman and the Vice Chairman should take charge of directing the orders and provides leadership by coordinating all the teams under the Calamity-Disaster Control Group. The Plans and Operations Committee should prepare and update Campus Emergency Plans. They serve as the center of communication in which they signal the start of evacuation and inform the public whether it is already safe to return to building. The Disaster Assessment Response Team should be quick in responding to the scene of disaster to check for the victims and estimate the damages in the residential buildings and other facilities. They should ensure the safety of the all the persons and check all of the rooms/buildings after the Evacuation to see if there are still victims trap inside the building. Also, they should perform initial investigation on the cause of the disaster and extent of damage on the buildings/facilities. Security Force should also be trained not only for security operations but also in fire fighting, evacuations, rescue and they also should have knowledge on how to conduct first aid. They should always have fire fighting tools, rescue paraphernalia and their first aid kits. The Fire Fighting Team should provide evacuation routes and signage in case of fire. They should conduct fire drills with at least 1 announced and 1 unannounced. There should be a Relief Team who will provide foods, clothes, drinks, and other necessities. The evacuation team should prioritize people with physical defects, children and elders for the evacuation procedures. The First Aid Team should have medicines, stretchers and wheelchairs for those who are badly injured. Also, Campus Emergency Management Group should coordinate with all the hospitals and clinics for better treatment of the victims. The Engineering and Rehabilitation Team should provide emergency evacuation shelters, repairs and lighting systems. They should have portable generators for lighting that will help a lot in the process of rescuing and evacuating during the disaster in case of brown out. The Transport Team should transport casualties to the nearest hospitals or clinics as well as evacuees to include those who may be stranded. The Rescue Team should have self confidence and strong determination for them to rescue those who may be trapped or hurt. 2. Do you agree with the current evacuation being implemented? Justify your answer. I agree with the current evacuation being implemented. There is a systematic way on how to ensure the security and safety of every person inside the campus. There are a lot of emergency tools, foods, clothes that are being prepared and organized. The personnels involve for the evacuation procedures are being trained for the enhancement of our safety. There are also many training, exercises, practices, and drills for us to easily understand the situation and how to survive during a disaster.

What problems do you think the students may encounter while conducting the evacuation? The problems that I think the students may encounter while conducting the evacuation are confusion where to go and not to go and what to do and not to do; nerve problems especially for those who cant think normally and being nervous during a disaster; asthma and other related diseases the feeling of being locked inside a closet and cant breathe because of the population. These are just some of the problems that students may encounter while conducting the evacuation.

What plan of action/s do you suggest to address the possible problems the students may encounter during an evacuation? I suggest that there should be at least 3 fire extinguisher per floor of a building for the prevention of having a huge burst of flames. There should also be speakers all over the campus in which all of the students will hear all the instructions that will be implemented to prevent confusion that can lead to difficult situations such as stampede. There should also be unity and orderliness to have a nice and peaceful evacuation procedure. Students should also be reminded not to make unnecessary noise in order to hear the announcements on what to do on that given situation.

What are the current concerns of Barangay Maligalig in terms of their youth groups? 2. What plans or undertakings do you suggest to respond to the concerns that Brgy. Maligalig is facing? All students who are caught copying one anothers work, their actual score in the assignment will be divided by the number of all the students who copied from each other and the resulting number will be the official score for the said assignment.
