Our Vitro trio of accessories features necklaces in either Seduce or Lumina. We wrapped and tied or crocheted around beachglass to create necklaces.

NOTE There are no gauge requirements for these projects BLUE NECKLACE With crochet hook, ch 5. Join with a sl st to form a ring. Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up. Rnd 1: Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc and ch 1), * dc in ring, ch 1, rep from * rep from * 10 times more, join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-4 12 ch-1 spaces. Rnd 2: Sl st into next ch-1 space, ch 5 (counts as 1 dc and ch 2), * dc in next ch-1 space, ch 2, rep from * around, join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-5 12 ch-2 spaces. Rnd 3: Sl st into next ch-2 space. Rep Rnd 1 12 ch-1 spaces. Insert sea glass. Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, join with a sl st in beg ch-1 12 scs. Fasten off. Twisted Cord: Cut two strands of yarn 3 1/2 times the desired finished length of cord. (For 18 long necklace, cut strands approximately 72 long). Put cords tog and fold in half. Tie ends in a knot. Holding the knot in your hand, slip the loop over a hook and pull tight. Slip a pencil through the knotted end and twist until cord is so tight that it cant be twisted further and starts to double back on itself. Put 1 finger in center of cord and carefully fold in half, letting 2 ends of cord twist tog. Knot one end securely and fasten to Rnd 2 of necklace. Thread the other end of cord through holes of button, then knot to secure. To fasten necklace, slip button into hole formed by Rnd 4 at back of sea glass. GOLD NECKLACE Cut three 60 long strands of yarn. Knot 3 strands tog in center. Holding knot in center front of sea glass, wrap strands around glass in several directions as shown in photo. Tie securely at top of sea glass. Trim cords to desired length leaving 2 extra for knots. Knot 3 strands tog at each side. Tie at back of neck to secure. GREEN NECKLACE Make same as Blue Necklace.
