PELVI - ABDOMINAL AND TRANSRECTAL SONOGRAPHY

* The liver is of normal size & homogenous echogenecity with no focal lesions detected. No intra or extra hepatic biliary radicles dilatation. * Gall bladder shows normal wall thickness with no stones inside. * Normal calibre of the portal vein and C.B.D. * The spleen is of normal size and homogenous echogenecity. * Normal sonographic appearance of the pancreas. * Both kidneys are normal in site, size, shape, parenchymal thickness and echogenecity with no renal stones or back pressure obstructive changes. -The right kidney measures x cm with parenchymal thickness of cm. -The left kidney measures x cm with parenchymal thickness of cm. * Both ureters are not dilated. * Urinary bladder shows normal wall thickness with no stones , masses or diverticulae. Prevoiding urine residue = + cc. Postvoiding urine residue = + cc. Residual index =+ %. * The prostate : The whole gland measures mm, corresponding to a calculated weight of + gms. A well-defined transitional zone adenoma, measuring mm, corresponding to a calculated weight of + gms. The peripheral zone is homogenous with uniform echopattern and with no focal lesions ( No suspected malignancy ). Regular contours and intact capsule. * Both seminal vesicles are within normal size and echopattern. * No para-aortic lymphadenopathy. * No ascites.
