CASE #7 READ THE SITUATION Consider yourself as Mr. Alex, an assistant software engineer in Net Solutions. His members are interested in political and social issues which totally irrelevant to their work environment. But Mr. Alex is a person who is workaholic, focused on completion of projects, especially a person who is against political talks. He tried to mingle with their team mates during their chat but he goes dumb as he is unaware of the topics. Every time during a Coffee break or Lunch break at the office, all the team members would join together for their refreshments with a chat on their favorite topic Politics & Society. Alex tried to avoid going with them as Alex is having a difference of interest. But if Alex continues to repeat the same, then the rapport with their team members would be affected which will affect his career. He cannot change his team for this simple reason because his adaptability plays a major role, which is a deciding factor for an employee to get an on-sight project. Alex gets stressed out when he thinks of his work environment. How would you mange this situation and arrive at a permanent solution?
