Project Objective
Design and set up a transportable mobile base station capable of using satellite transmission to link back into the Next G network, that could dramatically expedite mobile network disaster recovery within 2 hours

Major Factors To Be Considered
Synchronization Satellite Modem provide PRS at NodeB Satellite Roundtrip Delay expected between 500-550ms Satellite Link Capacity 2xE1 being used, Frame Synchronization Both uplink and downlink widow needs to be increase to cover the satellite delay MAC/RLC Parameters/Timers need modification to support satellite link delay
