MOUNTING The thermometer has to be screwed in by using an open end wrench. Take care not to take hold of the thermometer casing while screwing in the thermometer. Union- or counter nuts must be free. For Every-Angle Type only: before positioning the case the screws at top of the hinge must be opened as follows: open the slotted screws responsible for the 90 degrees vertical swing position. Open the hexagon screws responsible for the 360 degrees rotation. After positioning of the case tighten the screws carefully. You can only expect a correct indication, if the bulb is entirely immersed in the streaming medium. SERVICING In general, the bimetal-dial-thermometers are maintenance-free. We recommend to check the accuracy from time to time and to check the bulb with respect to wear and corrosion status.

INDICATION ADJUSTMENT The indication adjustmet schould be carried out by a specialist only, using a certified master thermometer. The micro adjustment device (on the pointer ) schould only be actuated (with a screw driver), if the thermometer has come to harm by an inexpert handling, violant vibrations or transportation damage etc. The thermometer can be opened by an anticlockwise turn of the bayonetbezel with the help of a band-wrench (Gedore 36). Contact thermometers must be adjusted by WIKA Klingenberg.
