The EMA 40 BD Br rockets, of similar use to the MK 40, are double based solid propellant rockets, aerodynamically stabilized by 4 fins, for use in tactical operations and training against surface targets. The stability in flight is ensured by a rotary movement induced by means of the divergent conception of its nozzles, that provides a rotation of approximately 20 rps. The EMA 40 BD Br rockets can be configured with warheads 70 mm CAB AP HE and with practice heads 70 mm CAB TR. The rockets equipped with warheads also use the EOM FP M28 fuses.
