We have studied the Market Economy System of Economics and its uses that are present in
todays economy over the last two weeks. You will begin to work on your Performance Task

Benchmark as guidelines. When this assessment is finished, it will help determine your level of

Directions

You work as an analyzer for a new company that specializes in energy drinks. Your goal is to
evaluate a proposal regarding marketing strategies for your companys products and critique it.
You must evaluate the proposal regarding the terms of Scarcity, Choice, Opportunity Costs, and
Comparative Advantage. You must then critique the proposal and include your own suggestions
for improvement before you forward it to the board of executives that run the marketing of the
company.
Remember: You will be evaluating a proposal that was created by one of your classmates.
You will be working in partners of two. Do not evaluate your own proposal or you will
automatically fail this assessment.
Schedule
Section 1 Receiving a proposal from a fellow worker (classmate) and reviewing the entire
packet presented. (Day 1)
Section 2 Identifying and analyzing examples within the proposal that relate to the necessary
terms of Scarcity, Choice, Opportunity Costs, and Comparative Advantage and noting their
