July 2005 May 2007: Intensive Reading Teacher, Clay County School District, Keystone Hts. Jr./Sr. High School, Keystone Hts., FL Taught intensive reading skills to middle and high school students, reading guidance for struggling students, lesson planning, tracking progress and working with ESE teachers on IEPs for students, FCAT preparation lessons, updating and maintaining student information on school databases for school and FCAT testing progress, evaluating, maintaining, and posting grades, conducting parent conferences by phone and in person. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Internship at Sebastian Middle School in St. Johns County School District. Developed instruction through collaboration with teachers on database resources in the media center. Involved in book selection and ordering, reader guidance, development of brochure for media center, billboards and displays and weeding of material.

Grading essays for the California High School Exit Exam to determine the level
of writing ability of each student and score on a scale of 1-4 to determine eligibility for graduation.
