The Sioux City Police Department was dispatched to 507 W 27th St at 2359 hrs on Thursday evening after a call was received from the residence of a shooting. Officers located several parties at the residence and found a shooting had occured. The incident is in the preliminary stages of investigation and the information released is limited. There are three victims in this incident, two are deceased and a third is currently in surgery at a local hospital. The suspect in this incident is in custody with charges pending. The names of the suspect and those of the victims are not being released at this time. There is only one suspect in the incident and police are not seeking additional suspects. The incident remains under investigation and more information will be released when appropriate.
