1. An actor is like a player in the game of the theory of figured worlds. Their engagement and actions are significant in way that they are somewhat preconceived and deemed appropriate. Artifacts are constructed objects (tangible or intangible) that convey a meaning, emotion, or a judgment. They are seen as a part of a figured world as they are social constructions. A figured world is a socially constructed environment in which, to an extent, actors and artifacts are made to transform into whatever will suit that particular figured world. 2. A literary practice is the way in which you communicate, think, act, and basically do all things in order to fit in, or be normal or superior. Literacy is a persons social and cultural world, or other influence such as politics, history, events, interactions, etc. 3. A figured world is a constructed concept that involves actors and artifacts of significance. Actors become the way that they are in order to fit in to this figured world. In the same way, certain artifacts are seen as they are because of the figured world that they exist in. The figured world ultimately defines the actors and artifacts to an extent.
