They then crescendo from forte to fortissimo hence clarifying that they love their subway. There is a contrast between the moderately loud start and the very loud finish.

TIMBRE There are a lot of instruments used in the music for the advertisement-some known to many and some which are not as popular. The conventional instruments used in this composition are the piano, the keyboard, the drum kit and the cowbell. Other instruments used are the tassa drum (an instrument of East Indian origin) and the bottle and spoon (an instrument usually used at parties in the Caribbean). All these instruments were used to bring the Trinidadian feel into the music by giving it a touch of many different cultures as Trinidad and Tobago is a highly diversified country.

FORM/STRUCTURE The music was written in binary form as it has two distinct sections (Section A and Section B). There is a variation of a motif in the song, this is heard when they first sing boom-de-yada in the original key of Section A and then the sing it in a different key in Section B.

STYLE The song started off in a classical style. The use of a piano helped in enhancing the sound of classical music. It then transitioned into the style of dancehall. Trinidad and Tobago has been greatly influenced by this type of music which has its origin in Jamaica. The use of dotted notes helped intensify this style of music.
