GUIDE FOR ESTIMATING THE HEAT LOSS IN Power/Vac SWITCHGEAR When operating at nameplate rating, Power/Vac metalclad switchgear heat losses per vertical section may be estimated by adding the individual components of heat loss as indicated below.

To convert Watts to BTUS: Watts x 0.05688 = BTUS per minute Watts x 3.4128 = BTUS per hour
