What about students who struggle with paraphrasing?


Provide problems on to sheet of card stock to students who are more capable and have them paraphrase them; each on a separate piece of card stock. Verify for accuracy; suggesting changes where needed. Code the reverse side of each pair of paraphrased problems, consider laminating.

Provide shuffled set of problems and paraphrasing to less capable students to determine the restated version of the given problems, as a scaffolding technique.
Have all students paraphrase given EOG problems.

Students construct bridge maps throughout the activity in order to better see the relationships
