WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE BEFORE I FILL UP THE ONLINE APPLICATION?

1) CHECK THE ADVERTISEMENT (IDENTIFY THE PROGRAMME YOU LIKE/ CHECK APPLICATION DEADLINE )

2) PREPARE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS (SCANNED COPIES ONLY-NOT MORE THAN 10 MB PER FILE IN PDF/ JPEG/ MICROSOFT WORDS FILE):
2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4 CERTIFICATE(S) & TRANSCRIPT(S) PASSPORT SIZED PHOTOGRAPHS IC/ PASSPORT COPY PROCESSING FEE SLIP (INTERNET BANKING/ CASH DEPOSIT/ ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER): MYR 20 (MALAYSIAN), USD 30 (INTERNATIONAL/MALAYSIA PR) 2.5 2.6 2.7 RESEARCH PROPOSAL (RESEARCH APPLICATION ONLY) APPROVAL LETTER FROM YOUR PROPOSED SUPERVISOR (RESEARCH APPLICANTS ONLY/IF ANY) SPONSORSHIP LETTER (IF ANY)

ONLINE APPLICATION FLOW?

1) Log on to School of Graduate Studies Website www.sps.utm.my 2) Click Online Application 3) Click Server 1 or server 2 4) Click Create an Account 5) Enter required data (please ensure that you have a valid email address) & click Apply 6) A verification email will be sent to you

7) Click the link from your email for verification

8) Fill up the application form completely

9) Upload all necessary documents

10) Confirm and Submit

Application completed
*Application result: Approximately 1 month after closing date (Taught Course)/ 1 month after submission (Research)

4) Click Create an Account

5) Enter required data (please ensure that you have a valid email address) & Click Apply

Print list as your reference

6) A verification email will be sent to you. Please check your email.

7) Click the link from your email for verification

Click Display Receipt

Click next button to go to the next page

8) Fill up the application form completely

9) Upload all necessary documents *You cant upload the documents until you select a programme code.

10) Click Confirm and Submit

To edit your application/ to view your application status (click the same icon with new application)

Enter email address & password and click Login
