Dear Ms. Elfert, The legendary reputation of Target Community and Educational Services Inc. requires admiration and reverence. In order to maintain this ranking and to be an elite member of the internship team at McDaniel College, it is important that the team is comprised of individuals who ensure enthusiasm, have expertise in communicating, work cohesively with other individuals, eagerness for working and a constant progression toward implementation of goals in order to benefit others. Each of these qualities is extremely important to sustain and exercise. I hope you will consider me for an internship possibility at McDaniel College. Over the past five years, I have worked with a variety of individuals in diverse companies. My first position at Hershey Heritage as a lifeguard honed skills which included, organizing and creating a schedule for the team, calling attention to the safety of others regularly, and maintaining the designation of head lifeguard. I held a similar lifeguarding position at Millers Crossing. My responsibilities involved collaborating and communicating to effectively diffuse potential workplace conflict, creating and maintaining a functional schedule, keeping the immediate work area in pristine shape, and expressing my opinion to help production within the company. I have held two jobs simultaneously at Bloomsburg University within the last two years and each involves communicating and working with others in order to maintain a steady and organized business. Working two jobs as a college student requires time management; the ability to multi-task and the ability maintain many responsibilities, one being a full time student. I have history of working with others and succeeding at implementing new ideas for a business. My resume will demonstrate my dedication to my academics along with jobs that I have held. My awareness of the importance of communicating and collaborating with others is exemplified as well. As I understand that each member of your internship team must be carefully examined and purposefully chosen, I would like to speak with you in person.
