The commercial was of you speaking on behalf of a fathers absence. During the commercial, you claim that fatherless children are twice as likely to drop out of school and are eleven times more likely to exhibit violent behavior. My issue with this commercial is that you seem to be applying this statement to every child who has gone through or is going through a parents divorce. Being one of these children, I do not meet your criteria of a child who experienced a parents divorce; I have graduated from Golder College Prep high school and have moved on to the net chapter of my life, attending DePaul University. My sibling, Matthew, who experienced divorce as well, is currently an honor roll student at St. Rene School. Matthew and I have neither exhibited violent behavior. I understand this is your job as an attorney, to fight for the rights of fathers experiencing the difficulties that come along with a divorce, but I am asking for you to consider editing your Fathers Rights commercial because it does not apply to everyone as you say. I am aware that unfortunately there are some children who do experience lack of education or violent behavior but that is rare and does not apply to everyone.
