FYP II Progress Report

1. Project Abstract
Mention the abstract of your project, which should summarize the relevant background, the association of
your project with this background, the scope and objective of your project, your adopted methodology, and
your results. It shouldnt be too long (at most 1 page).

2. Relevant Background
Mention all the relevant background that is necessary for the readers in order to understand your project,
e.g., the details of an AI-based search algorithm, or any other technology or tool, which you have used in
your project.

3. Proposed Approach
Describe the approach that you have adopted in your FYP in detail, e.g., the description of a proposed
framework, a system or a tool etc. that you have developed in your FYP. This is one of the essential parts of
your report and should be comprehensive

4. Evaluation Testbed
Describe the approach you adopted in order to test and validate your work. This should be also
comprehensive: describe the evaluation approach, test cases, testing constraints etc. You can use
information from the deliverables that you have submitted previously.

5. Results and Discussion

Describe your results and discuss them in minute detail. You can use data from the previous deliverables.
This section should be lucid enough to affect

6. Limitations and Future Work

Describe the limitations of your work, and mention what future work needs to be done, in order to develop
your FYP into a complete and sellable product.

7. Reasons for Failure If Any

If you believe that you havent fulfilled your project scope, describe why it is so? Make a list if necessary.

8. References
Give a list of bibliographical references to research papers, if needed.
