Lesson plan A Film reviews Level: Intermediate, secondary Theme: Films Focus: Reading, writing Aim: For students to produce a short written review of a film 1. Ask learners to discuss which films theyve seen recently. Check whats currently being shown locally and ask learners which films, if any, theyd like to see. A few copies of local papers or entertainment guides would be useful here. Elicit what they know about the series of films Harry Potter. Ask learners to make some notes about the outline of one of the Harry Potter films in about 150 to 200 words (or any other recent release if they havent seen any of them).
