SYNOPSIS This course will increase students knowledge of the basic skills in learning English language such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Besides that, it will also help students in strengthening their grammar and vocabulary by using reading materials connected with their courses.
OBJECTIVES 1. To listen and understand the complex terms and phrases used. 2. To read and understand types of reading materials relevant to hotel management field. 3. To speak using the correct pronunciation and intonation. 4. Deal confidently with predictable work related and social situations in English. 5. To write words, term, sentences, or paragraph by using the correct grammar and vocabulary.

Assignment Objective: The assignment consist a few situations that happened in the hotel. The students need to understand the situations and need to apply the suitable conversation that suit to that situation. Activity: In Topic 1, the students need to recognize all the types of oral skills. The students will divide into 8 groups and each group will get 1 situation. The students need to create 1 conversation based on the situation and present it in front of the class.
