It is hereby notified that the following amendments to Statute 4, Chapter XIII Boards of Studies of the Kannur University First Statutes-1998 to include the Chairman of Boards of Studies (UG) as and ex-officio member of the other Boards of Studies (PG) was approved by the Syndicate at its meeting held on 26-9-2012 has been assented by the Chancellor vide Lr. No. GS5-2131/2012 dated 4th February, 2013. Amendment to Statute 4, Chapter XIII Boards of Studies of the Kannur University First Statutes-1998 That the existing provision in Statutes 4 Nomination of Chairman and Member of Board of Studies in Chapter XIII- Boards of Studies of the Kannur University First Statutes, 1998 is amended as follows: Amended Statute 4. Nomination of Chairman and Member of Board of Studies: The Chairman and Members of the Boards of Studies shall be nominated by the Chancellor. The number of such members shall not be less than 5 or more than 11 including ex-officio member. Chairman of one Board of Studies shall be an ex-officio member of the other Board of Studies in the same subject. (Sd.) Registrar.
