PERSONAL LEARNING PROFILE 20%

Part 1: Interpretation of Data Discussion Board (DB) (2 @ 5%)


Using your results from all 5 assessment tools, explain to your partner the following: DB #1 Identify your top 5 strengths and describe what they mean based on our discussions in class. You should identify the strength and which assessment piece it comes from and then have 1-2 sentences describing each strength, making the length of your discussion board 10-15 sentences in length. Due: Monday Sept. 30th by 8pm Submit using the discussion board tool in your groups in blackboard. DB #2 Identify your top 5 weaknesses and describe what they mean based on our discussions in class. NOTE: Please make sure that you are using your own words and not simply copying and pasting your results summaries. You are interpreting your results, not just describing them. After reading each discussion board, if you dont feel like you have a good grasp on the strengths and weaknesses of your partner, you may need to ask questions to clarify. It is essential that you understand your partners strengths and weakne sses in order to design an effective Future Learning Plan.

Part 2:

Future Learning Plan (FLP) 10%

In this section, you will design a Future Learning Plan (FLP) for your partner based on their strengths and weaknesses. Focus on the following two areas for your FLP: 1. Based on your partners strengths, what strategies should they use to maximize their learning? 2. Based on your partners weaknesses, what strategies should they try to enhance their learning? Please use the assignment sheet posted in blackboard to design your FLP. You will need to identify at least two strategies for EACH of your partners strengths and weaknesses . They have identified 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses, so your FLP should have 10 strategies for section 1 and 10 strategies for section 2. You will also have to provide a concrete example of each strategy, which will make each section of your FLP a minimum of 20 sentences. Due: Monday October 7th by 8pm Submit online using the File Exchange tool in your groups in Blackboard.
