Reflective Analysis of Portfolio Artifact Rationale/Reflection NAEYC Standard:

STANDARD 7. EARLY CHILDHOOD FIELD EXPERIENCES Field experiences and clinical practice are planned and sequenced so that candidates develop the knowledge, skills and professional dispositions necessary to promote the development and learning of young children across the entire developmental period of early childhood in at least two of the three early childhood age groups (birth age 3, 3 through 5, 5 through 8 years) and in the variety of settings that offer early education (early school grades, child care centers and homes, Head Start programs).

Brief Description of Evidence:


Organized and concise informational resume containing my objective, work experiences/history, education, and volunteer experience for future interview and employment opportunities.

Analysis of What I Learned:


By gathering and combining work history and experiences in a concise format for future employment, it will give my prospective employer a base knowledge of me and what I represent. The resume will help set me apart from the rest of the applicants in this competitive world we live in.

How This Artifact Demonstrates my Competence on the NAEYC Standard:


This artifact is a reflection of the field experiences and clinical practice I have attained through my quest for knowledge in Early Childhood Education. These experiences allowed me to develop my skills in the classroom as well as in the community.
