I am pleased to present my resume to you for consideration as an elementary school teacher with the Clark County School District. At Nevada State College, I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education and I completed my student teaching in a first grade classroom in the Clark County School District. I have the desire to provide all students with an excellent education and I am confident in my ability to be a valuable asset to your school district. I completed my student teaching at Grant Bowler Elementary School in Logandale, Nevada with excellent evaluations and I feel that I am highly qualified for this position. During my time at Nevada State College, I completed over 60 hours of field experience and observation in CCSD classrooms. Many of these field experience hours have included tutoring ELL students as well as at risk kindergarten students. I have also completed over 30 hours of field experience in Washington County School District in St. George, Utah through Dixie State College. I have excelled academically, graduating Magna Cum Laude, at Nevada State College and I feel that I am very prepared for this position. I have worked as a substitute teacher with CCSD, where I was able to learn from many other teachers before I entered my student teaching. I have also coached softball for the past four years. I was the assistant varsity coach at Moapa Valley High School for three years and this past year, I was a head coach for a Little League team in Logandale, Nevada. These experiences have allowed me to gain insight on discipline and control while continuing to motivate the girls I coached. My devotion, enthusiasm, and determination are always apparent and I am genuinely committed to making a difference in childrens lives.
