The above reflects the duality of the District Advisory Board’s role with duties for both the BOE and the District. BOE Policy GP 3.6, Board
Committee or Liaison Principles, would be amended to describe the DAB as follows:

“The District Advisory Board as a group of representative parents and community members from the Poudre School District shall:

1. Provide the Board at least twice yearly with concepts regarding the future of Poudre School District, including concepts regarding
funding, legislative agenda, and the Board’s Ends statements;
2. Advise the Poudre School District regarding topics that impact the District as a whole;
3. Advise the Poudre School District's parent community regarding topics that impact the District as a wholeShare information with
individual sites regarding issues impacting students, parents, community members, sites, and the District.
4. Provide a conduit between the District and individual sites for sharing best practices of individual schools and for sharing other matters
that are arising at individual schools.”
