The Mulat Pinoy project, a youth-oriented population and development awareness initiative of the Probe Media Foundation, Inc.

(PMFI), is looking to hire an ONLINE COMMUNITY MANAGER. The post is a full-time, flexible-hours/telecommuting job intended to facilitate Mulat Pinoys presence and engagement in social networking sites, as well as manage related administrative tasks within the project. The tasks and responsibilities of the post are divided across four areas: Website management o Maintain and update the content and design of the Mulat Pinoy website o Coordinate with contributors for content submissions to the website o Provide guidance to parties interested in both providing and acquiring website content o Create or source supplementary website assets as necessary Social networking engagement o Update Mulat Pinoys social networking venues (Facebook, Twitter, et al) daily o Engage posts and comments in constructive and objective ways o Explore network-building initiatives to increase Mulat Pinoys online reach Partner monitoring o Keep track of the online activities and presences of Mulat Pinoy partners o Reshare partner activities relevant to Mulat Pinoys networks o Share Mulat Pinoy initiatives with partners via online venues to encourage participation and extend the projects reach to partner audiences Project involvement o Attend Mulat Pinoy meetings and events o Assist in the implementation of project activities as needed

Applicants must have the following requirements: Excellent fluency in English and Filipino Effective online and offline people skills A personal computer with reliable access to the Internet Social media/networking knowledge and competence Availability for nonstandard work hours and venues

These additional qualifications are ideal but not strictly required: Journalism or education background Editorial experience Graphic/web design skills
