I learned how to located, interpret, evaluate, and use professional literature to make evidence-based decisions. Reflection of the assignment: This assignment made me realize that there are so many different professional articles on so many topics that its a challenge to choose the best ones to use. There is so much information to consider before selecting the appropriate article that they must be interpreted thoroughly before choosing. This assignment made me appreciate the knowledge and skills I received in my undergraduate courses to successfully complete this assignment. Relevance to the profession: Being able to interpret and evaluate professional literature is a big part of the Nutrition and Food Science field. There is always new literature with new topics that come out all the time that its important to have the skills to be able to interpret and evaluate them. The skills taught from this assignment can be used by any nutrition professional.
