Online Journals

Keeping current in the field used to mean heading to the library and reading stacks of professional journals or magazines. Now many of these journals can be found for free online. Below is an old article which lists several of these online journals. Some of the links may be broken, but by searching for the magazines name on the internet, you probably will be able to find a new link. Browse through several of the online magazines below. Since this article is a few years old, also search the Internet for other online scholarly publications related to our field. You will be asked to report your findings later. Now start surfing.

Internet TESL Journal http://iteslj.org Brought to you by Charles and Larry Kelly, this is a top-notch collection of monthly journal articles, research papers, lesson plans, classroom handouts, teaching ideas and links. Asian EFL Journal provides insightful materials for teachers to seek solutions and read the journal to help teachers who are working in Asia, or working with Asian. In addition, the English teaching professional is a helpful tool for us to learn other
teaching in different part of the world.

The Tesol quarterly http://www.tesol.org/read-and-publish/journals/tesol-quarterly is a professional journal for the field. They publish helpful researches and helpful solution for people.

Answer:
As a teacher, we want to different helpful information to help us to improve teaching. Ideas from different people help us to be a better teacher each year. Also the website also has a lot of updates for different places. Sometimes, looking at other peoples perspectives and idea will help us stay out of our own box.
