Description:

This project is funded by Department of Science & Technology (Government of India for empowering the rural youth in the technologies of Geo-Informatics in local problem solving and build their capacity in modern technologies related to watershed management. This project has been developed in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), an autonomous organization with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. Upgradation and Application of NRDMS Technology in Local Level Planning in District Almora 2 Years Spatial Database creation and maintenance for different line department of Almora District and make familiar with GIS and GPS to the employees of different line departments. This project is funded by Department of Science & Technology (Government of India as continuation of previous project "Setting UP NRDMS Centre" for Creation of new digital database and updating of old database as per needs of the line departments and provide assistance to District Administration and Line Departments, as and when required.

Application of Geohydro Water Informatics in Developing Groundwater Augmentation and Water Conservation Strategy for Kosi River System in District Almora, Uttarakhand Senior Research Fellow 3 Years Analysis of Hydrometeorological Data and then develop Hydro-Weather Informatics and Geo- Informatics of Kosi Watershed This project is funded by Department of Science & Technology (Government of India for development of Hydro-Weather Informatics and Geo- Informatics of Kosi Watershed. Identification of dead streams or rivers and recharge areas or spring sanctuaries of dead streams or rivers and suitable sites for rainwater harvesting structures and biological treatment of the Kosi Watershed and after that develop a coordinated action plan in association with line departments.

Summer internship:
Summer internship carried out in Magnasoft Pvt. Ltd. from June 2013 to July 2013 for the project entitled Landuse Land cover Classification for the Purpose of Agricultural Planning.

Poster Presentation:
A poster presented on Impact of Urbanization on Sources of Drinking Water A Comparative Analysis of Rajasthan for the Year 2001 & 2011 in 13th ESRI India User Conference 2012.

Training Experience: Ten Days training from 20th to 30th August, 2007 by Indo-US Training School on SWAT & ADAPT Modeling for Integrated Water Resource Management at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
