Physics Equation Guide:

Acceleration: Circular Motion:

a = V / t
a = acceleration V = change in Velocity t = change in Time

ac = V2 / r Fnet = mac
ac = acceleration V = Velocity r = radius (distance from moving object to the center) Fnet = Net Force m = mass Gravity, Gravitation, and Weight:

Friction (Kinetic and Static):

Fk = kFn F s = sF n
Fk = Force of Kinetic Friction k = Coefficient of Kinetic Friction Fn = Normal Force Newtons Second Law:

G = (6.67 x 10-11) g = Gmp/r2 Fweight on another planet = gm

G = Gravitational Constant g = Gravity of the Earth mp = Mass of the planet in question r = Radius of the planet in question m = Mass of the object in the system (Note that if you are using the 3rd equation that all Newton values should be converted to kilograms. Simply divide the Newton value by 9.81 m/s2 to get the mass.)

F = ma
Newtons Third Law:

FA on B = - FB on A
F = force m = mass a = acceleration
