To whom it may concern, This letter is to express my interest in and explain my qualifications for the Marketing Internship position. I currently have a part-time job, but am looking to begin expanding my experience to the world of marketing. If accepted, I plan to take an internship leave from my current position as to not conflict with the internship.

A full time, 4-year marketing student at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse Able and willing to work minimum 3-hour shifts with minimum 20 hours/week during school and up to 40/week during summer/holidays/breaks. Fluent with numbers and mathematics as well as computers Familiar with and trained in the use of databases and spreadsheets (Access and Excel) Willing to work with account manager/sales assistant/customer or business unit to obtain required assistance

Working as a Team Spending 3 years in the restaurant business, I have learned to work as part of an efficient system, responsible for safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibility and Trustworthiness I am known for being punctual and dependable as well as flexible in scheduling and willing to work extra when needed such as coming in on days off, and working overnight remodels. In all of my places of employment, I have been trusted alone with products, cash, and maintaining business flow. Communication Skills As a sales person, I have acquired an understanding of proper interactions with customers such as smiling, manners, using a persons name, using appropriate vocabulary, and making a person feel comfortable. Working up to 60 hours a week, I have talked to thousands of customers.
