References: No references were used during this lesson. Activity Analysis: The activities for this lesson involve the children acting out a story, and discussing the rights, responsibilities, and fair treatment. The last activity requires the students to think about a rule that should be implementing to our democracy. When the students were acting out the story and having a group discussion, it gave everyone a better understanding of the learning objective. The second activity just reinforces what the children should have learned if they achieved the objective. The activities cater to the needs of the children are shy and timid. This allows them to feel more comfortable voicing their opinions with their peers. The majority of them like to be involved during the lessons, so allowing them to act out certain characters made it more fun for everyone. The children can express their own thoughts but creating a rule that could be implemented. This lesson did implement technology by using the web cam and Smart board. The web cam and Smart board were used to model how the students should start their writing assignment. The technology was handled by the student teacher but was used to help the children better understand what is expected during this assignment.
