References: South Carolina State Standards. Activity Analysis: The activities for this lesson involve the children having brief discussions and representing their thoughts in an artistic way. When the students are discussing their thoughts it gave everyone a better understanding of what they need to achieve for todays objective. The second activity just reinforces what the children should have learned if they achieved the objective. The activities cater to the needs of the children are shy and timid. This allows them to break out of their shell by communicating with others and presenting their ideas with the class. The majority of them like to be involved during the lessons, so allowing them to put on a presentation was fun for everyone. The children got to express their own thoughts during the group discussions. This lesson did implement technology by using the web cam and Smart board. The web cam and Smart board were used to model how the students should start their writing assignment. The technology was handled by the student teacher but was used to help the children better understand what is expected during this assignment.
