Population Explosion

The agricultural revolution, declining death rates, and rising birth dates where factors of the population. Death rates decreased because of reduced famine, healthier babies, and better medical care. Methodism helped the working class by helping them relieve their anger from the revolution and onto social reform.

Urbanization
The movement of people to cities People lived in packed crowded apartment in the cities called tenements Urbanization happened when farmers get kicked out and moved to cities

Rise in the middle class


The social class was built of mostly

merchants and skilled inventors Middle class said the lower class was poor and lazy. Middle class lived in solid furnished homes, dressed and ate well.

Farming

Smaller fields into larger fields Used manure as soil Seed drill

Improved land owners to become wealthier Kicked out peasants from their home, no longer needed.

Advances in Energy and Transportation


*They used a new type of energy called steam locomotive. :o *Steam made the industrial revolution what it is, because it was the start of factories and new ways of transportation that didn't need the power by animals or humans anymore. *Instead of walking or taking a horse drawn wagon, people then had trains, steamboats, and other ways to travel because of steam. *The negative effects the Industrial Revolution of transportation is that it started air pollution.

Factories

Advances in medicine
*Pain reliever medications like anesthetics were invented in the Industrial Revolution. *The advances in medicine was saw as a good thing since now they had pain relievers for surgery's and other medical procedures.

Evolution Of Labor
The inventions reduced the labor for slaves because of the New Technology. New Inventions like the seed drill made farming easier to control & the steam engine was also a new invention.

Gender Roles

en usually worked either farming creating railroads M and mining jobs. Women worked in factories easier industrial jobs than men. Employers prefer females workers because they thought women could adapt easier and they can pay them less than men.

Health & Safety Concerns

The workers would have dismal living conditions. L ow pay jobs they would work a lot but they would only get paid a little. Working in the factories,mines & ect can cause medical problems some not so bad but some could be severe.

Child Labor

The jobs done by children during the revolution were mainly done in mines and factories. Dangers that children faced was stunted in growth twisted limbs and even DEATHS. Parents accept the idea because they needed money to provide for their family. Parliament passed laws to regulate child labor

Communism
Karl marx created modern communism communism form of socialism there is no form of social structure

can make money on something everyone needs supported the laissez faire economic ( where the government would not get involved with the economy)
