Dear Sir/Madam, My name is XYZ Abcd. I am a 3rd year student at the University of Mauritius enrolled on a BSc (Hons) Accounting with finance program. Please accept the attached resume as my application for an internship at the Agricultural Marketing Board. Given the difficult economic situation prevailing in the country, it is becoming more and more difficult for young graduates to secure an employment. Besides having good academic qualifications, employees need to demonstrate the right attitude towards work. As such, experience plays a vital role. Having already worked in the banking sector and in a firm of chartered accountants, I now want to increase my experience by doing a December/January internship in a prestigious institution like the Agricultural Marketing Board. This will be a very new and different experience for me if ever my request is accepted.
