I am confident my dedication, experience, and passion for Child Development would make me a valuable addition to Sweet Pea Academy team. I am currently enrolled in Richard J. Daley City College of Chicago. I am obtaining an Child Development Pre-School Education Associate. Spring 2014 will be my last semester before obtaining my degree. I have accumulated over twenty-five credits in Child Development. I have completed my required courses and I am now finishing up with my major courses such as pre-practicum and practicum. During this time of taking courses I have learned and also received some hands on training working with infants and toddlers. Therefore, I am not only qualified but also received hands on training for the position. Ive retrieved a number of hours to observe and participate in hands on training working with infants and toddlers. I have done babysitting, and working from a family childcare in home business. I have done Child Care Facility volunteering where I received my actual hands on learning experience. I have worked with toddlers more so than infants. Ive been helping with circle time; we read books, sing songs and help children with words and letters. I have been trained to implement activities to promote young childrens developmental growth mentally, and physically. I have also been trained to clean, and properly assist children during toilet time. I have received a great amount of experience and training; therefore I feel I a qualified applicant for the job.
