Gather items for fishing....poles, fish, berries, veggies and nuts. We get together for circle and do the daily basics. Talk about how animals don't use fishing poles but use their hands or feet instead. Allow the children to choose, whether they want to use their hands or feet or use fishing poles

We'll fish and sort different items "caught" Clean up the fishing large muscle activity Then we'll talk about how different forest animals might move around Then we'll sing and dance to the song "forest animals" Repeat if the children are willing.
