Christmas Opening Prayer

Dear God in Heaven, we thank you for another year of good health and happiness. As we celebrate this Christmas Gathering, make us realize that we owe it all to you. Nothing can equal your all-abounding love and generosity. May you continue to bless us and all of your people this year, as well. We ask for your blessings that we may continue to spread the good word of your salvation. Bestow upon us the Holy Spirit so that we could do so with conviction and determination. May you bless all who came to this gathering that they may realize all of these camaraderie and gladness would not be possible without you. May you allow us to celebrate this Christmas gathering with the thought of sharing our blessings with those who are less fortunate. May you bless the organizers of this wonderful activity that they may be blessed ten-fold more. May you also endow all the participants the fulfilment and peace that come with your love. May you bless everyone as we leave this venue that each would spread the joy and love that empowers us, as your followers. All these we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, your son. Amen.
