- To impart computer education and enhance knowledge about computer subjects. - To develop better skills leading to self development and employability in computer application. - To upgrade the professional skills and knowedge to enable them to work as teachers, programmers, analysts, etc. - To make the students eligible for admission in higher courses like M.Sc. (CS), MCA, M.Sc. (IT) etc. Admission Eligibility : Pass in Senior Secondary (10+2) from any recognized Board Duration : Minimum 3 years ; Maximum 8 years Medium : English Credit : 36 for BCA first year. Fee : Rs. 9400/- (First Installment-Rs. 6400/-, Second Installment Rs. 3000/-). The whole course of BCA first year has been divided into 2 groups. Group 1 has 3 compulsary non-credit course and Group 2 has 9 core course of 4 credit each.

Examination Pattern :
On the completion of minimum duration i.e. one year, a candidate will be examined by the means of written examination of three hours duration in each course. The maximum marks for each course will be 100 and the student will have to obtain 36 marks in each course individually to quality the examination. No division shall be awarded in first year of BCA. 76
