UPGRADING HACMP 5.4.0.2 to 5.4.1.

1. Login to primary and secondary node using the persistent IP address. 2. On primary node, Manually run a snapshot:
/usr/es/sbin/cluster/utilities/clsnapshot -c -i n 5411upgrade d 5411upgrade

3. cd /usr/es/sbin/cluster/snapshots 4. cp 5411upgrade* /tmp 5. Stop HACMP cluster on both nodes 6. NFS mount nim server /nim/MaintLevels mount n <nimserver> /nim/MaintLevels /mnt 7. cd /mnt/HACMP/CONFIGURE 8. Execute the HACMP Upgrade script as follows: a. FOR PRIMARY NODE ./upgradeha5414 p NOTE: Wait for the Running the Snapshots to complete before running the script on the secondary node. b. FOR SECONDARY NODE ./upgradeha5414 -s NOTE: For ACTIVE/ACTIVE Cluster, select one node as primary (use p option) and the other one as secondary (use s option). WARNING: Once code upgrade is done, before proceeding to the next step, please check the following file an make sure that the permission mode is set to 600. ls la /usr/es/sbin/cluster/etc/rhosts Permission mode must be: -rw------If not, run: chmod 600 /usr/es/sbin/cluster/etc/rhosts 9. Once upgrade is done on both nodes, a final instruction will be printed on your screen as follows: Please perform the following steps:

1. On Primary Node, Run the following command to restore the HA config:


/usr/es/sbin/cluster/utilities/clsnapshot -a -n <snapshotname> -f false

2. Perform HA Synchornization and verification, make sure to set auto correction to yes. 3. Reboot both nodes 4. Start HA 5. Perform Failover test.
